Drive-through ventilation dams are built in excavations where the flow of ventilation air should be closed, and where wheeled transport takes place on one or two tracks.

The structure of the drive-through ventilation dams is built into the wall dam. Single drive-through ventilation dams and double-track are designed to work:

• as single dams - with the dam control system,

• in the lock system - coupled control systems there into the lock control system.

The manufacturer of single- and double-track drive-through ventilation dams with pneumatic control has obtained the attestation opinion of the Attestation Plant CMG "KOMAG" in Gliwice and the approval of the State Mining Authority in Katowice.

• Two-frame construction resistant to significant rock mass clamping.

• Pneumatic control and drive eliminate the possibility of hazards (coal dust or methane explosion).

• Easily relocated to another location.

• Possibility to adjust the drive parameters of the dam to the individually occurring pressure difference and the height of the compressed air pressure.

• The disassembled structure facilitates transport to the destination. The sliding bearing of the wings eliminates the possibility of their seizing.
